The Company is planning the construction of new generation facilities which will increase installed electricity generating capacities of OGK-2. Besides the investment program there is a modernization program on technical re-equipping and reconstruction which includes measures on maintenance of operating capacities of production facilities, replacement of outdated equipment, extension of service lives of buildings and constructions. These activities will provide the increase of fuel efficiency, reliability and maneuverability of machinery and equipment, which will improve work conditions for stations’ employees, and extension of the service life of existing generation capacities, which will reduce operational costs and outages for services and repairs.
